Adrian Taunton

Adrian Taunton comes for a distinguished family of painters stretching back to William Taunton (1809-1898). Adrian was born in 1939 he was educated at Norwich School, Gonville, Caius College and Cambridge then pursued a career in industry before becoming a full time artist in the early 1980s Adrian Taunton now exhibits widely and his subjects include scenes from Venice, France and other parts of Europe, painted in various media. He is best known, however, for his watercolours, capturing the essence of the East Anglian scene in evocative landscapes and seascapes under a big sky.
