Alfred Stannard 1806 - 1889

Alfred Stannard was a Norwich landscape and marine painter, he was a Member of the Norwich school of painters. He was brother to Joeseph Stannard, father to Alfred George and Eloise Harriet Stannard. Who where all Members of the Norwich school of painters. He painted mostly views of Norwich and some of the cost near Yarmouth. Alfred Stannard has many works in the Norwich castle Museum.
