Brian G James

Brian G James was born in Wales he studied at St Martin’s and The Royal College of Art. Brian’s formative years were steeped in tales from Celtic legends and mythology, a product of his Welsh ancestry. A fascination grew from their images and symbols, giving form to perceived truths. ‘Cultural responses to man’s relationship with nature is a territory I’ve explored over several years. Full of desire and fear, intimacy and distance, dark flesh and dead fruit.’

Brian G James now lives and works in Norfolk.
