William Henry Crome 1806 - 1867

 

Born in Norwich in 1806, William Henry Crome was the younger son of John Crome. He lived in Norwich until 1832. When he left little was heard of him after he moved to London.

He exhibited in London 1826 - 1848 and in Norwich 1822 - 1833. In the latter part of his life he fell upon extremely hard times and died in Greenwich workhouse on the 23rd October 1868

J.B Ladbrooke is a significant Master of the Norwich School.
