John Berney Ladbrooke 1803 - 187
John Berney Ladbrooke was the second son of Robert Ladbrooke, he was a Norfolk landscape painter and member of the Norwich School of Painters. John Berney Ladbrooke's early work reflect the great influences of John Crome. He toured England extensively but always remained very loyal to his native Norfolk. At all times he maintained a high standard, even in his late works. He exhibited at the Royal Academy, the British Institution and exhibited many paintings at the Norwich Society during his life.
J.B Ladbrooke is a significant Master of the Norwich School.
