Artist Statement - "My work is about capturing the visual world around me, the places, people and objects that surround my everyday life, the familiar re-examined in detail.

My aim is to capture the very thing itself, the transitory moment and hold it still. My belief is that drawing is the basis and beginning of any work and to this end I follow a traditional path, with careful studies leading to fully developed paintings."

Attended Ipswich Art School from 1987-1989 and have been painting in isolation for the past 20 years, in 2010 I "branched out" and had numerous successful selections in exhibitions across East Anglia and have been overwhelmed by peoples generosity towards my work.
