David Jones did a general course in art at the Berkshire College of Art and then studied painting as a special subject at Camberwell School of Art in London. For many years I worked as a museum curator in Salford, Kidderminster and Norwich, not as one might expect in art, but the social history field. My experience as a museum curator and continuing interest in history is evident in all my work whether figurative or abstract.
