Visual Artist Elizabeth Merriman trained at Oxford Polytechnic, Canterbury College of Art and the Slade School of Painting. She has lived in North Norfolk for over 20 years painting and exhibiting regularly.
Her vibrant oil paintings and large scale chalk pastels are flower portraits celebrating life through the seasons in her garden and beyond. Each work has its particular colour palette which captures and holds a moment to create a mood and atmosphere.
She also makes collages using discs of coloured paper – a kaleidoscopic take on the paintings.
