With a successful career entwined in the theatre, John Link’s paintings are inspired by his love of Shakespeare.

This exhibition shows the journey from his first works

directly inspired by theatrical plays, through to his last paintings which are full of powerful, vivid colours, featuring evocative characters with a suggested narrative, often for the viewer to interpret. John called these his legacy paintings.
