KIND

This exhibition presents drawings and paintings of people, especially children and their animals in the landscape. They are of a kind, possibly displaced and reliant on one another for their survival.

Sula studied at Central St.Martin’s. Often travelling to paint, she has collaborated with artists, poets and musicians nationally and internationally. She is a member of the Royal Watercolour Society

EVENT – 29 April 2pm – 3pm

Talk with Sula Rubens and Poet Sue Wallace-Shaddad among the paintings. Free to attend.

The children and animals in these works are often reliant on one another to survive ever-changing circumstances. We view them as they are at one unremarkable moment, without a directly explained or implied back story.
