Since graduating his work has been exhibited regularly in East Anglia and nationally and his work is held in individual and NUA’s own university collection. Following a career as a freelance illustrator, Mike Dodd gained an MA in Fine Art from Cardiff School of Art (UWIC) which has led to exhibiting both 2D and 3D work in the UK, France and the USA. He is an associate member of the Arborealist group of artists and his most recent work reflects this involvement through its engagement with trees as its primary subject matter.
Steve Baker is emeritus professor of art history at the University of Central Lancashire, and a member of the Norwich 20 Group, and he has recently become a media and communications volunteer with Alzheimer’s Research UK. Work from his photographic art practice has been exhibited in the UK, USA, Australia and Europe, and for the Mandells exhibition he will be showing selected prints from his dementia-themed project Plaques & Tangles.
